It has taken some time but the new website is there. It’s not perfect yet and probably a lot will change in the near future, but it’s a start.
The website is running on WordPress. Not exactly the first choice because it’s a lot of clicking in web user interfaces instead of using actual code. And let the latter one be easier to automate. But the advantage of WordPress is that it’s fairly easy to compose a website without too much hassle and since building a website from scratch takes a lot of time, WordPress is the way to go. For now at least. Maybe in the future a new website will appear which is using something else, but according to the philosophy of having the right tool for the right job, WordPress is the right tool for the right job right now. Wow. That’s a lot of right stuff. But fear not. There is also a lot of wrong stuff. More about that later.
